Kansas City Metro Music Therapists
Since 2018, I have served on the board of KCMMT to represent and fulfill the educational needs of music therapy students. KCMMT is a professional and social networking group within the field of music therapy located in the metro area of Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri, and outlying areas. Their mission is to provide the public, music therapists, and students with educational opportunities, networking, and support in the Kansas City area for the purpose of helping others reach their highest potential. KCMMT has supported my efforts to provide students with observational opportunities of professional music therapists. And in 2020, KCMMT supported the students of UMKC with a travel grant to attend the 2020 Midwestern Regional Conference of AMTA.
